Great Deals on GREAT GAMES?

I always keep an eye on Humble Bundle. Not only does it have great deals every so often, it also supports charity! I have enjoyed many games, books, and software from these bundles. As a gamer, a website that has great bundles across different gaming fields is a huge boon. Here are the top four bundles I am most excited about.

Sid Meier's Ultimate Collection Bundle:

This bundle includes Civilization 3-6 and Beyond Earth with many DLCs. For any 4X fan, Civilization 5 and 6 are amazing games that have really been the bar for other games. Another 4X games, how does this compare to Civ 6? You will see this in many reviews for other 4X games on Steam. This is for good reason. Civilization 6 has a lot of enjoyable content with different civilizations to play, good depth in gameplay and research/diplomacy aspects that keeps players coming back to Civilization games again and again.
Another game I want to mention in this bundle is Sid Meier's Pirates. This is an old school game that I have spent a decent amount of hours in when I was younger. You travel around as a pirate, conquering territories, fighting naval battles, and wooing a spouse with dances. The naval battles and fleet making capabilities of this game is the most fun aspect, but the turn based combat as you take over a city also has its merits.

Bandai Namco Fights, Frights, and Fantasy Bundle:

Tekken has always been a great game series to enjoy. I remember playing some of the older Tekken games on the PS2 and even on the Gameboy Advance. With Tekken 8 recently released, it is no surprise, that this one is marked down to get you into the series. If you have never played a Tekken game before, I recommend getting this one, especially for $10. Plying with a controller is highly recommended if you enjoy your sanity.  The other games on this list have gotten great reviews, but I haven't played any of them. If you are into anime games, be sure to check them out!

Roll 20 Everything For Your Adventures Bundle:

Switching gears here. If you have ever played a TTRPG online with friends over Zoom, Discord, etc, then you have probably used Roll20 before. If not, Roll20 is a great platform for any TTRPG player to help them with visuals and other assets to bring the game to life. I have used this the most for the interactive maps that all the players can measure and move their characters around on. It helps with game immersion as well as the practical aspect of organization. This bundle includes rulebooks and maps from different games like Pathfinder, Starfinder, Fallout and more!

The Best of Warhammer RPGs Bundle:

Ahh, the Warhammer Universe! This is a must for any Warhammer fan who also likes RPG games. I think Humbe Bundle describes the bundle the best, "Whether you’re partial to Space Marines, Stormcast Eternals, or good ol’ greenskins and high elves, this bundle of Warhammer pen-and-paper RPGs from Cubicle 7 will bring eternities of adventure to your table! If you seek adventure in the 41st century, Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory will immerse your RPG group in the galaxy’s grimdark battles and heretical nightmares. If your tastes run classic, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay puts the entirety of the beloved Old World at your fingertips. And if you want to explore a realm of high fantasy, magitech, and post-apocalyptic horror, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound invites you to forge your group’s destiny in a gods-shattered realm." This digital bundle includes different RPGs of the Warhammer Universe, including helpful Gamemaster screens! What is nice about these RPGs, is that they have varying styles of play and themes. Some are more narrative driven, while others are more rule based. You might find that you like some over others, or maybe them all for a variety!

RTS Game Theory/Guide Part 2: Resource Management

RTS Game Theory/Guide: Resource Management This is a deeper look at how to manage resources, but because this game theory/guide is for all RTS games, it won’t be a deep dive into any one game specifically. I recommend doing some research on your own for specifics. As previously mentioned, resources are the supply for the demand(military). Having a great economy will field a great army. Let's break this down into separate categories: Resource Types:   Most RTS games feature multiple types of resources, such as minerals, energy, food, gold, or wood. Understanding the different types and their uses is crucial. Buildings, units, and research all have specific costs of one or multiple of these resources. Depending on what you want to build, you need to allocate your workers to collect that resource. For example, if you need to train an army consisting of high cost gold units, you will need to collect more gold than the other resources. This may include assigning newly trained wor...

Playing Lorcana For FREE?

Disney's competitor to Magic: The Gathering has been out for a little while now, with the second set just coming out. For Disney fans, this a dream come true. For others, it has great nostalgic value as their childhood heroes come to life. The problem is, it's getting increasingly expensive very quickly.  Lorcana starter decks ranged from $18-25. Now they are $30+. This is a very quick price increase and for many in this economic state, this is too much to get into a new or perhaps another card game. Thankfully, there are those heroes out there who are making sites to play Lorcana for free and I will show you how to do this.  There are two sites we need to go to. Both require a sign up, just as a heads up. The first one is called DreamBorn.ink ( https://dreamborn.ink/builder ). This is where you can look at all the cards and create decks with similar stats to MTG websites (cost curve, card colors, etc). You can create your own decks here and also look at decks other peop...
